This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our mobile application and website. 

1. Information We Collect: We may collect email address, phone number, username, stored home location and snake sighting location, photos submitted for identification, and basic device and usage data. 

2. How We Use Your Information: We use your information to provide snake identification services, deliver identification results and notifications, improve app accuracy and performance, provide educational content and relevant alerts, and maintain account security and verification. 

3. Third-Party Services: We use trusted third-party providers to operate the app including RevenueCat for subscription management, Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, Twilio for phone verification, Mailgun for email communication, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) for secure data storage. These providers only access data necessary to perform their services. 

4. Data Sharing: We do not sell your personal information and only share data as necessary to operate the app and provide services. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill legal obligations.

5. Data Security: We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, however no system is completely secure. 

6. Your Rights: You may request access to your data, request deletion of your account and associated data, and opt out of non-essential notifications by contacting support@snakesnap.co. 

7. Children's Privacy: SnakeSnap is not intended for children under 13 years of age. 

8. Changes: We may update this policy from time to time and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of those changes.
